I found it unique, well designed and crisp. I thought to myself I need me a review on this gaming monitor Atron Vision AVF240 that many gamerswere talking about. It’s a full HD 24-inch gaming monitor that boasts with it some very high specs for a very low price. From the design, color execution, settings and even a remote control, I’m planning to give it the best review I can. Let’s see what this mighty display has to offer.
The Atron Vision AVF240 gaming monitor is a Full HD (1920×1080) with an aspect ratio of 16:9 and a native refresh rate of 144Hz which can be overclocked to perform even better depending on your graphics adapter. A super-fast response time of 1ms helps reduce ghosting and a lot of blurriness when watching a movie or playing a game. A full HD at 24 inches is the perfect size and resolution if you’re on budget and you won’t go wrong with this display on that.
If you’re a gamer and play games that push the FPS limits, you’ll sure need a display panel with an extremely high refresh rate and an extremely low response time; Atron has you sorted. 1ms is the fastest real response rate that I know of, and even if there were others with more rapid response rate, it would be hard to notice because it’s generally how quickly a pixel can change. The faster the pixels change, the clearer and sharper the image is with a lot of fast action on the screen making this monitor perfect for gaming, streaming life sports or any other intense action.
Designspeakers at the bottom; it’s thrilling.
Despite being a low-cost display, it offers a lot of striking features, like the Line of Sight Mode that places a crosshair on your screen as you play. The legacy VGA D-Sub port for old school video cards is making it flexible for consumers with VGA ports to use it still. There’s also a DVI-I and HMDI digital connections the modern video cards or devices. It’s a budget display thereby one can’t expect to have other advanced ports to come with it.
Textured plastic design at the back is amazing and unique with a 100 by 100 base amount, and at the rear, the display has a VESA mount capability as well as OSD buttons. On the back right side of the monitor are the power port, analog audio jack and the only display input for this panel being a Dual link DVI Port
3D and Video
Colors are not oversaturated at all in the Atron Vision AVF240 gaming monitor with the extensive features that it comes with like low blue light, flicker-free display, a line of sight, and overclocking. The faster response time and brightness make this monitor a tick as it draws less energy to power the LED backlighting. Lower latency gives the gamers an opportunity to improve their in-game reactions.
The 144Hz native refresh rate allows more rendered frames display on the screen when compared to a standard 60Hz monitor. If you’re running game with more than 60FPS, your game will display your frames per second up to 144 FPS. I was shocked to see challenging games flow like butter on this screen. Fluid and precise video playback is another excellent experience that this monitor has with it.

Conclusion: Why I’d recommend it
The Atron Vision AVF240 gaming monitor is a beast I’ll have to admit that. After playing with it for hours and performing some stress tests as well, I know I got lucky knowing that I made a perfect choice buying this display. I had no issue with dead pixels or screen bleed. The sound eminence from the speakers isn’t as bad or irritating to the ear. Video playback is super fluid and as it is calibrated with 100% RGB which guarantees industry-leading color accuracy which shows you exactly how your work is going to look when it is complete.
80,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, will allow you to appreciate and enjoy the little extra details that you rarely see in games. The comfortable viewing experience while reducing eyestrain is a plus. The Line of Sight feature was a special one as it made shooting games much more enjoyable than ever. I can say I had more fun playing Call of Duty 3 on this monitor than anywhere else.
Atron Vision AVF240 Review: Part 2
As it turns out, one of our other testers on the team wrote a review of this monitor as well, so we’re putting in his review of this monitor in here as well. Here it goes.
This is a monitor that I was skeptical of at first, especially since my wonderful and trustworthy monitor of yesteryear recently broke – but I needed something to replace my typical gaming monitor. The Atron Vision AVF240 is a 24” computer monitor, optimized for both gaming and just watching videos in general. It’s got a response time of 1ms (which is outstanding), and features a resolution of 1920 x 1080. Another neat feature of this monitor is the fact that they’ve got built-in speakers, which isn’t the case for most options out there. In this Atron Vision AVF240 review, we’re going to look at what makes this model tick.
The specifications are a major selling point for any monitor, as they’re going to tell you much more about the product at hand. Some of the specifications you could benefit from would be stuff such as:
- Screen Size: 24”
- Aspect Ratio: 16:9
- Screen Resolution: 1920 x 1080
- Brightness: 350 cd/m²
- Response Time (GTG): 1ms
- Refresh Rate: 144 Hz
- Speakers: 2 x 2.5W
- DVI: 1
- HDMI: 1 (v1.4)
They didn’t shy away from the abundance of useful features with this monitor model, which is why I was so intrigued at first. I decided to purchase it for myself, so that I could have a hands-on experience and share the results with my readers.
What Makes a Monitor “Good”?
Image quality is the most impactful thing to look at, but what else do you need to worry about? If the monitor features a few accessories and features (like speakers built-in or a stand that tilts and moves), it’s going to be a little more useful. Most people get external audio devices for their gaming and such, or merely use headphones – but if you’re watching a movie and such, speakers are ideal. It’s subjective in a sense, but the features available and image quality are the two main things you should be trying to identify. In my Atron Vision AVF240 review, I’m going to give you a personal opinion.
This monitor features an AUO TN panel, which means it’s going to promote great image quality (which is exactly what I was seeing with my own eyes). I did notice that the color could use a little bit of work, but the 1ms response time made it so that I never needed to worry about ghosting and such. It was an amazing experience when I played a game for the first time on this monitor, and it made me realize just how great of a purchase I may have made! The screen size itself is more than reasonable, and the flicker-free processing means that you’ll never notice any skips or jumps (graphically, of course).
This monitor produces images in a fluid and smooth manner, so blurring and ghosting is something that you’ll never need to fuss over. If you wanted a premium viewing experience, the Atron Vision AVF240 just might be the selection you want to go with. With a total of 16.7 million colors to display,
With a DVI port and HDMI port, this is a monitor that’s very versatile. It comes with its very own remote control, and the process of setting the monitor up is straight-forward. HDMI and DVI support allow you to use the monitor in the most optimal ways possible, and the remote control means you can control the volume from the comfort of your seat.
There are loads of useful features packed into this monitor, some of which makes the viewing experience a seamless one. The viewing angle sits around 160-170 degrees, and low blue light is supported (in 3 different options), as well as Game Mode/LoS Mode (also 3 different options). There’s flicker-free support, and you can even overclock the monitor up to 185 Hz – depending on your graphic card, of course. Some other neat features would include stuff like:
- AUO TN Panel
- 1ms (GTG) Response Time
- 1920 x 1080 resolution
- Built-In Speakers
- 144 Hz Refresh Rate
Capable of rendering 144 individual frames per second, this is a monitor that doesn’t miss much action. Images are produced with fluidity, and blurring is a thing of the past with this monitor. I used to deal with ghosting daily, but as soon as I got this monitor into my set-up, I wasn’t worried about it anymore. A monitor is only as useful as the features implemented within allow it to be, which is why I felt it was crucial to research my monitor choice before buying. If your monitor doesn’t provide optimal image quality and features to go along with it, it may be time to purchase a new one – maybe even the Atron Vision AVF240!
I liked the size of this monitor, and you can appreciate all of the features they tried to implement within. Atron Vision is a known computer monitor manufacturer, but this is my first product of theirs; all I can say is that it got the job done, and I wasn’t disappointed with anything this monitor had to offer. I play a lot of video games, which meant that the wrong monitor could cause significant problems; I figured that a dedicated monitor company like Atron Vision would be a good place to start my search.
Awesome image quality, the screen size is nice and even the tilting stand was a great touch, essentially allowing you to customize your viewing experience. If you want a straight-forward monitor to use on a daily basis, the Atron Vision AVF240 24” 144 Hz Gaming Monitor just may be optimal for you.
A 24-inch monitor that keeps gamers on their toes at all times, delivering outstanding image quality and entertainment experience that many other monitor manufacturers could only dream of. It might sound a little over the top, but I really liked this monitor! The refresh rate is ideal, and I’d have to give it about a 4 out of 5 – an enjoyable experience all around, to say the least! Cutting corners on your monitor needs is never a good idea, so keep that in mind when you’re looking to purchase a new one.
If possible, try and go with Atron Vision, and anything they should offer! It may seem a bit biased, but I personally loved this product.
