The website has launched!

Hi there and welcome!

This website has launched to give you a list of 120Hz, 144Hz or 240Hz monitors that you can buy. CRT screens (the large ones that existed over a decade ago), had a refresh rate at around 100Hz and there were little motion blur. Then LCD screens came with a maximum refresh rate of 60Hz. This was not optimal for gamers, as this meant more motion blur and some refused to switch to flat panels. Today, LCD screens exist with higher than 60Hz, typically 120Hz or 144Hz. Many newer monitors, along with 144Hz refresh rate, also have technologies that help to reduce motion blur drastically. This includes technologies such as LightBoost, ULMB, BENQ Blur Reduction and EIZO Turbo240.
Let’s face it, 60Hz monitors are deprecated. When you use a 144Hz monitor for a while, you will have a hard time using a 60Hz monitor afterwards.

In this website, we will also post articles related to monitors with higher refresh rates than 60Hz and technologies that reduces motion blur. We will also post information regarding pictures and video in general, so stay tuned!
