ASUS has released a bunch of gaming monitors that have already caught our interest, such as the ASUS PG279Q 165Hz gaming monitor, and 2016 will bring us even more exciting displays from the well-established company in the gaming monitor market. In fact, it is going so well that ASUS might even account for half of gaming monitors being shipped in 2016 if this trend develops.
According to credible sources from the upstream supply chain, ASUS accounted for 40% of all gaming monitors shipped in 2015, with very good sales in the United States, Europe and Taiwan. In total, an estimated amount of at least 800.000 units were shipped in 2015.
ASUS also won five CES Innovation Awards at CES 2016, which includes the ROG Swift PG348Q, a 34-inch 100Hz WQHD UltraWide (21:9) IPS gaming monitor.
