Are you a professional photographer, designer, or a video editor who also likes playing video games in high quality?
The ASUS ProArt PA34V, also referred to as ASUS PA34VC, combines its highly precise colors with a 100Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync for a multifaceted computer use.
However, it’s factory-calibrated to Delta E < 2 and covers 100% of the sRGB color space ensuring accurate and consistent color reproduction required by the professionals.
In addition, the ASUS PA34V monitor features the aggressive 1900R curvature which along the spacious 34-inch screen provides you with an immersive viewing experience no matter whether you’re gaming or working with spreadsheets.
The UWQHD resolution, 3440×1440, will make every detail pop while still providing you with plenty of screen real estate.
Thanks to its 100Hz refresh rate, video games become significantly smoother and more enjoyable in comparison to the standard 60Hz monitors.
If matched with a FreeSync-compatible AMD graphics card, the ASUS PA34V can make the gaming experience even more stunning as the dynamic refresh rate eliminates screen stutter and tearing.
The ASUS PA34V FreeSync range is 40-100Hz, however, LFC (Low Framerate Compensation) is supported meaning that even when your FPS (Frames Per Second) rate drops below 40, the framerate will be doubled to maintain gameplay fluidity.
Like most modern monitors, the ASUS ProArt PA34V has a low blue light filter and is flicker-free which ensures a comfortable viewing experience even after prolonged use.
In addition to being factory-calibrated, the monitor supports hardware calibration using the appropriate colorimeters.
Lastly, you will be able to find both Picture In Picture and Picture By Picture modes in the OSD (On-Screen Display) settings.
Design & Connectivity
As you can see, the ASUS PA34V sports an attractive and modern design with ultra-thin bezels at the top and at the sides while the bottom bezel is textured. As of this writing, it’s unknown whether the monitor is VESA mount compatible and what ergonomic adjustments it offers.
At the back of the monitor, you’ll find versatile connectivity options including a DisplayPort, two HDMI 2.0, and two Thunderbolt 3 ports which can simultaneously transfer audio/video content, data, and charge a device up to 60W.
Price & Similar Monitors
The ASUS PA34V price and release date are unknown at the time of this writing; stay tuned though as we’ll be updating the article as soon as something comes up.

It’s also a curved 34-inch ultrawide IPS display with FreeSync, vibrant colors, and 75Hz refresh rate that’s overclockable to 100Hz. What’s more, it will likely end up being considerably cheaper than the PA34VC once it’s released.
As long as your work isn’t sensitive to the curved screen of the ASUS PA34V display, we have yet to see a monitor that’s better suited for both professional color-critical work and immersive gaming.
