It’s official. Acer has announced the Predator Z35P gaming monitor for quite some time and now it has been launched. The Predator Z35P is basically an updated version of the Acer Predator Z35, but this one offers an even better resolution.
The screen size is still 35 inches, but the resolution is now 3440 x 1440 instead of 2560 x 1080 like its predecessor. The style of the new Z35P is also a bit different from the predecessor due to the fact that this gaming monitor has a more minimalistic stand that tones down that bright red color scheme.
Furthermore, the Z35P offers other traits that are good for gaming, such as a 4-millisecond response time and support for Nvidia G-SYNC technology. The maximum refresh rate is limited to 100 Hz, which is actually kind of a downside. The good news is, however, that users can overclock the monitor’s maximum refresh rate up to 120 Hz if they want to. This is still lower than the 200 Hz maximum refresh rate that the original Acer Predator Z35 gaming monitor could achieve.
Moving on, the Acer Predator Z35P gaming monitor features a curved display, resulting in a more immersive gameplay. The brightness is specified at 300 nits.
The Acer Predator Z35P gaming monitor has a price tag of $1,099.99 and can be preordered right now on Amazon with the shipping time of 1 to 3 weeks.
